Andy W. Davis has been singing since he was a little boy, but he’s been doing it professionally for 27 years. He has been a vocal instructor for 22 of those years at Cokesbury United Methodist Church School for the Arts, Linda Young Music Studio, and aat the Blues Angel School of Music, while currently offering lessons locally at Schmidt’s Music and online.  In addition, Andy has coached many pageant participants in talent and interview.

He uses an inquiry-based learning method, serving as a facilitator for his students, supporting them in a participatory learning environment.

Voice Pedagogy — Participant in seminar at the University of Mississippi with Voice Care Associates of Memphis, Tennessee; Participant in University of Montevallo Vocal Pedagogy workshops.

Student Intern Choral Director, Bradshaw High School, Florence, AL where I was responsible for the men’s chorale and junior show choir rehearsals, while assisting with mixed chorus, ladies ensemble, chamber choir and senior show choir.

Student Intern Music Instructor, Lauderdale County (AL) School System was a positive experience as I traveled to four rural schools each week teaching over 1200 children.
